ENROLLMENT

PHILOSOPHY

Here we teach responsibility, work ethic, dedication & commitment to the craft and respect for your fellow actors. We strive to set the benchmark in standards for the work and commanding tools by the actor, with the intention that our students work independently and securely in the future.

We do not direct the actor into performances, believing instead that the best way to empower an actor with owning their work is to challenge their acting ideas and muscles, leading to discovery of the answers. We, therefore, do not pry into an actor's privacy but challenge them to choose to bring their deepest and most heartfelt inspirations and experiences to their work. "You do not lose yourself in the work; you find yourself."

Goals: 1 )Strong knowledge and command of the craft tools, including its subjective personal, creative, and artistic dimensions. 2) Keen awareness and articulation by the actor of knowing what is working effectively in their acting, what is not working, and most importantly why. 3 )The techniques or craft become second nature, living deeply and actively within the actor so that "magic" can be created fully living authentically and organically in immediate fictitious circumstances to ultimately share and illuminate the human spirit.

We are looking for serious and open actors seeking to hone their craft in a rigorous program, who are driven by the passion and joy of their work.
