Tim Bagley, Improv Teacher
Tim first studied improv with the acclaimed Paul Sills, from Second City in Chicago, and then went on to study at The Groundlings in Los Angeles. He spent 1990 – 1995 writing and performing with the prestigious Groundlings Main Company, winning two LA Weekly awards. Tim taught at the Groundlings school for over 15 years. After his time with the Groundlings Tim studied extensively with Howard Fine. Tim now has over 150 film and television credits. Film highlights include This Is 40, Knocked Up, Finding Bliss, Employee of the Month, The Day After Tomorrow, and The Mask. TV highlights include Teachers, Grace and Frankie, Mr. Robinson, The Comeback, Web Therapy, Grimm, Southland, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Monk, and Will and Grace. Theatre highlights include Stage Kiss at The Geffen Theatre, Under My Skin at The Pasadena Playhouse, Underneath The Lintel at The Ensemble Theatre, Four Places at Rogue Machine Theatre, winning Ovation, LA Drama Critics and Garland awards, and Beverly Winwood Presents… at The Renberg Theatre. Tim has written and performed three one person shows, No Actors Allowed, about navigating his way through Hollywood, Clean Boy Dirty Stories, about being a butler at the Playboy mansion, and Happy Hour, about his family and person loss, winning the Jury award for best one person show at the Aspen Comedy Festival.
